For 1:8 scale model cars. This pit box can be used for model cars in which the motor is mounted transversely in the chassis or in the fore-and-aft direction simply by rotating the starter motor. Power to the electric starter is provided either from a 12 V lead-acid battery (optional accessory) which can be installed in the pit box, or from an external 12 V car battery. The control panel enables the operator to checkthe state of charge of the lead-acid battery, and provides a socket for a glowplug clip.
