The ECO SPEED racer was developed by H. Lehner, several times a model boat world
champion. Hull, deck, cover etc. come ready-formed from ABS plastic. The tunnel-shaped buttom of the hull serves to reduce friction as much as
possible. For the standard version using a 7-cell NiCad battery use of a MULTISPEED 600 8.4 V drive set is
recommended. If the boat is to be entered in FSR-E-ECO contests the hi-performance power-plant MULTISPEED 500 RACE VS, 7.2 V, may be installed. Collisions and contacts with buoys etc., causing a boat to
capsize, occur frequently. As a result of its configuration and construction ECO SPEED will regain its normal attitude automatically all by
itself, so the race can go on without interruption.
Contents of the quickie kit
Quickbuild plan incl. R/C installation and building instructions in
Dutch, English, French, German and Italian. Extruded hull, cockpit, deck, cover and wing of ABS
plastic, die-cut plywood parts, trim sheet, miscellaneous parts.
