Iron-on plastic covering film, glossy One of the faces of ECOFILM is coated with a layer of heat-activated adhesive (put to work by a hot sealing iron). ECOFILM is a fuel-proof film. Requires no pre-treatment (primer coat etc.) of parts to be covered. The film is ironed on with an adjustable iron, such as No. 1226. Another tool for shrinking is a heat gun. The covered model may be dressed up by stripes of ECOFILM. Weight approx. 68 g/m².
